The former Deputy Minister of Environment, Health and MP in Quebec, Canada, Gerasimos (Gerry) Sklavounos, spoke about the celebrations of March 25 in Montreal, the first visit of a Greek Prime Minister after 41 years, the Canadian Prime Minister and other issues on the show “Our Global Voice” with Petros Diplas and Dimitris Kontogiannis.
Mr. Sklavounos, who was an MP from 2007 to 2018, was elected in the Montreal area where many expatriates live. Canada’s current Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is elected to the national parliament from the same district, he said.
