On Friday, December 15th, Gianna Triantafylli hosted a special personality of Greek Diaspora in France, Katerina Karagianni.
Ms. Karagianni lives in Nancy, France. She is a psychologist and psychotherapist, as well as a performer of Greek traditional songs. She has been teaching folklore dances for 28 years at the association “Greek-French House of Lorraine”, of which she is a founding member.
From 2016 until today she teaches Greek traditional singing masterclasses throughout France and Luxembourg, with repertoire from all over mainland and northern Greece, the islands, Asia Minor and Pontus.
In recent years she has been exploring new traditional musical paths in collaboration with the most important singer and teacher of Greek traditional songs, Katerina Papadopoulou.
