Sculptor Michalis Kassis is invited on the show, on the occasion of the release of his latest book: “Glossary and Unwritten Laws of Mani”. Michalis Kassis studied sculpture, ceramics, plasterwork and bronze casting at the Academy of Fine Arts. For 25 years he directed the laboratories of the National Archaeological Museum (NAM). He has taken part in dozens of group exhibitions and has ten personal exhibitions to his credit, while his works can be seen in many city squares in our country and abroad. Michalis Kassis creates life through stone, gives life to forms that emerge from their very interiority. He uses the human form as a means of communication, in a game with the world, with its material, with the very core of the subject he presents. This is a creator who has left his own special mark on sculpture and through his work, authenticity emerges in all directions. A man whose rich life experience makes him a special personality.
