“On the occasion of the music-theater performance PORNES STA VOURLA – “”Kati na Meinei apo Mena” (Something of Mine to Leave Behind) based on the book of the same title by Tety Solou, a chronicle “”accompanied with music”” affectionately dedicated to the memory of the girls who passed through the “”huge public brothel in Drapetsona that was built by the Municipality of Piraeus and operated under state protection and guarded by the police”” from 1873 when it was built until its final demolition a hundred years later, during the dictatorship of the colonels.
