Greek entrepreneur Thassos Bampalikis, who has been active in the restaurant industry in Portugal since 2015, joined Voice of Greece and the program “Our Global Voice” with Dimitris Kontogiannis to share his perspective on daily life in Lisbon amid a prolonged blackout, rising living costs, and an escalating housing crisis.
Bampalikis explained that while supermarket prices in Portugal were once lower than in Greece, that’s no longer the case. He also described the housing situation as far more critical, citing difficulties in finding apartments for his employees as a clear sign of the deepening problem.
