Journalist, writer, and Director of the Center for Hellenic Studies “Areti” Ms. Vasiliki Thoma Konstantinidou is a guest on the show “The Voice that Unites Us”.

Ms. Thoma Konstantinidou lives and works in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Her parents immigrated from Asia Minor and she experienced the life and struggle of Greek immigrants in Brazil from the age of three.
In her books, she has recorded testimonies, memories, interviews from Greeks whose historical presence in Brazil exceeds 200 years! A painstaking and enormous effort, a research that lasts more than 16 years and as she said to Gianna Triantafylli “was done so that Memory is not lost”..
Her speech, which was direct, frank and journalistic, referred to the thousands of deaths in the pandemic caused by the policies of the Bolsonaro government, the social unrest, the increase in the number of homeless people, unemployment, violence and Lula’s rise to power.
He referred to the Greeks living in Brazil, those who are poor and survive thanks to the care of the Greek communities.
