Anastasios Tamis, researcher and emeritus professor of the history of the Greek diaspora based in Melbourne, began recounting the story of the Kanellakis family, originally from Poros, who travelled to China for the trade of tobacco products before later expanding their activities across the world.
He spoke on the Voice of Greece radio programme “Our Global Voice” with Dimitris Kontogiannis.
