“From a very early age, I realized that the sea and shipping offered real professional prospects, and that’s why I turned in that direction — and I never regretted it. Shipping has no limits, and whoever truly loves it and works in it will never lose,” Captain Panagiotis says.
He encourages young people to pursue the many professions connected to the vast world of shipping, emphasizing that “in shipping, young people will find their path and grow professionally. It is an interesting and merit-based field. Shipping and the Greek people have gone hand in hand from antiquity to the present day. And we Greek seafarers are ambassadors of our homeland in every corner of the world and in ports across the globe.”
