Symeon Palios, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Diana Shipping, spoke to Voice of Greece and the program “Fair Winds and Following Seas” about HELMEPA, its mission, significance, and contribution during an event held at Posidonia 2026.
“HELMEPA was founded by our seafarers and the distinguished benefactor George Livanos, who offered so much to Greece. Today, HELMEPA’s presence extends to many parts of the world. The sea has much to offer, especially to us Greeks and to our country, given the tremendous opportunities available to those of us who manage ships across the globe,” Mr. Palios emphasized.
