Spyridon Chouliaras, an obstetrician-gynecologist specializing in in vitro fertilization at Sidra Hospital in Doha, the capital of Qatar, described how he experienced the Iranian bombardments and the missile interceptions from last Saturday until today. He spoke on Voice of Greece Radio, on the program “Our Global Voice” with Dimitris Kontogiannis.
Mr. Chouliaras noted that the sounds of Iranian missile and drone interceptions have decreased significantly in Doha, and that the public remains generally calm, although there are fewer cars and pedestrians on the streets. He emphasized that Western residents, who have not lived through similar events, appeared more anxious compared to citizens of countries such as Lebanon, Pakistan, and others, who are more accustomed to such situations.
