Michalis Kazamias, a fourth-generation businessman of Greek descent, spoke about life in the East African country, its beauty, challenges, and dangers on Voice of Greece and on the program “Our Global Voice” with Dimitris Kontogiannis.
Mr. Kazamias referred to his estate, where he grows thousands of trees with four varieties of mango and raises sheep and goats, but also to the dangers posed by hyenas, wild bees, and large snakes such as cobras, which have cost the life of one of his employees and endangered his own. He also gave personal examples from his close encounters with elephants and lions and how one should react in such cases.
