In Thessaloniki, people drink their coffee slowly. Here, when the clock strikes 18:00, it really means 18:30. Life moves at its own pace – unhurried, easy, open. You walk through layers upon layers of 23 centuries of history, while the seafront feels like the city’s living room: students, friends, street musicians, couples, joggers – everyone belongs.
The city has an inner sense of nonconformity. Yet it also carries a quiet confidence, as if whispering, “I’m here — discover me if you wish.” Thessaloniki doesn’t try to impress. And somehow, it always does.
Guests: actress Anna Symeonidou, the pirate of Arabella Cruises, and Maria Koutoupa, creator of the Selfie Museum.
Produced and presented by Ariadni-Sofia Kouri
