Asked how he decided to emigrate, he said his generation fled the economic crisis. He emigrated to the UK in 2015 after studying at the Technical University of Crete, when the employment situation in Greece was not so good. So he decided to try his luck in another country, with difficulty at first, but managed after twelve years to build his career and start his family.
Referring to the issue of the leak of the personal data of expatriates, he stressed that in recent days he received several messages from friends of Greeks abroad about the email they received from the MEP of New Democracy, Ms. Anna Asimakopoulou, who asked him if he knew anything.
Then, the co-founder of the Progressive Forces argued that this email can only have been received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs without the permission of the expatriates, for this MEP and expressed his wonder that since Mrs Asimakopoulou has served as Head of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Media of her party, she did not know that e-mails should not be sent.
Finally, he added that the website of the Progressive Expatriates is in the process of being upgraded and they hope to have a great response from Greeks abroad in the European elections.
