Greek expatriate Giorgos Serafeim from Winnipeg in the province of Manitoba in central Canada spoke about the events organized by the Greek Community there to honor the anniversary of March 25th on the show “Our Global Voice” with Petros Diplas and Dimitris Kontogiannis.
Mr. Seraphim referred to the event that took place at Winnipeg City Hall with the raising of the Greek flag, the festive feast with the participation of the dance group by the youth of the community and the letter they sent to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, informing him about the actions of the community on national issues such as the Cyprus problem and the recognition of the genocide of the Greeks of Asia Minor, of Pontus and Eastern Thrace.
