“Faraway Words” with Nancy Athanasopoulou- Mylona | 09 July 2024

From Toronto, Canada, Nancy Athanasopoulou Mylonas, director and choreographer of EKFRASSI PERFORMING AND EXPRESSIVE ARTS and Ekfrasssi Productions, was hosted on “Voice of Greece.” During the show, she shared her life story, starting in Egypt where she was born and raised until age 16 in Suez, then moving to Australia where she became actively involved as an actress, and finally settling in Toronto, Canada, where she has directed numerous Greek performances. Notably, her theatre group has frequently traveled to Greece and received multiple awards. On August 3, her show “Women in the Light,” previously performed in Toronto and Montreal, will be staged in Lefkada. This theatrical work is based on the trilogy of Lefkada by expatriate journalist and writer Justine Fragouli-Argyris.
