Maria Ekmektsioglou on “Voice of Greece” | 23 Sept. 2024

The award-winning chef Maria Ekmektsioglou spoke on “Voice of Greece” and the show “Faraway Words”” about the Friendship, Culture, and Gastronomy Festival of Fethiye, which will once again open its doors for two days, on September 25 and 26, 2024, in the southwestern Turkish city. As she mentioned, this is the second year of the initiative, which aims to unite both sides of the Aegean, with gastronomy as the connecting link. The initiative has been embraced by the president of the Lycian Women’s Association, Çiğdem Karaca, who is a co-organizer of the festival. Chefs and journalists from Turkey and Greece are expected to attend, as well as the Deputy Mayor of Education, Culture, Gender Equality, and Lifelong Learning of the Municipality of Western Lesvos, Zacharoula Ioakeim.
