Angeliki Kardara—PhD, Department of Communication and Media Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, philologist, regular scientific associate at the Center for the Study of Crime, author, lecturer, and E-Learning instructor—was hosted in the studio by the program “Take Your Time” with Prokopis Agelopoulos.

Dr. Kardara highlighted the relationship between minors and social media, on the occasion of the proposed ban on social media use for children under the age of 15. She also spoke about prison narratives, drawing on her doctoral research titled “Prison and Language: the linguistic communication of inmates as a critical and integral element of prison structure.”

A distinguished educator, she holds a PhD from the Department of Communication and Media Studies at NKUA and is a philologist specializing in Medieval and Modern Greek literature. She is also a lecturer-author and instructor in the E-Learning Program of the Center for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM) of NKUA, where she delivers online lectures as part of distance-learning courses.

She is certified and licensed to teach three foreign languages—English, French, and Spanish—which she has been teaching since 2007, and she also teaches Greek as a foreign language. She serves as a regular scientific associate of the Center for the Study of Crime (KEME) and is the scientific coordinator of the Crime & Media Lab, as well as a member of the working group on Crime and its Representation in the Media.

Since the summer of 2024, she has been based between Greece and Strasbourg, expanding her horizons toward new aspirations and significant life goals.
