On Thursday, 04 June 2026, after the opening review of the day’s current affairs, the program examined the shifts taking place in Greece’s political landscape following the launch of new political parties by Alexis Tsipras and Maria Karystianou, as well as the dissolution of the New Left parliamentary group. Independent MP Nasos Iliopoulos joined the discussion to share his views on these developments.
The program then connected with Aris Katopodis, Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Greek Film Festival (LAGFF), who spoke from the U.S. West Coast about the festival’s awards and offered an overall assessment of this year’s 20th edition, highlighting some of the films and personalities that stood out.
The second hour began with a review of the newspaper front pages before turning to international affairs and developments in the Middle East. Ivana Djordjevic presented the latest news from the region, followed by a conversation with ERA analyst Walid Elias on the Israel–Lebanon agreement.
In the final part of the program, filmmaker Phaedra Vokali, who took part in the humanitarian mission Global Sumud Flotilla, spoke about her experience following the interception of activists in international waters by Israeli forces and the period of detention that followed.
The broadcast concluded with the latest sports news from Vasilis Motsis and a surprise visit to the studio by acclaimed actress Danae Loukaki, known among other roles for her participation in ERT’s successful daily drama series “Electra.” Loukaki will take part in a special program dedicated to the FIFA World Cup, which ERT will begin broadcasting on 11 June.
