On Friday, 12 June 2026, we spoke with Myra Myroyianni, Secretary General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy at the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, about the role of Greek scientists and entrepreneurs living abroad and the importance of science diplomacy, as highlighted during the symposium held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday, 11 June, titled “The Role of Greece in European Science Diplomacy: Building Connections, Shaping the Future.”
We then turned to developments within Greece’s center-left political landscape, prompted by Alexis Tsipras’ Greek Left Alliance initiative. Our guest was Grigoris Gerotziafas, Professor of Hematology at the Sorbonne University Medical School, who also answered whether he would support this new political effort and under what conditions.
During the second hour, following the international news presented by Ivana Djorjevic, we discussed recent developments in Greek-Turkish relations with international relations and geopolitical analyst Demosthenis Dimopoulos.
In the final part of the program, before the sports news with Antigoni Drakatou, we listened to the new song “Galiantra” by Kleoniki Demiri and spoke with its composer, Panagiotis Zavitsas.
