Nikos Abavis, who moved to Barcelona for work 31 years ago after studying in Greece and England and made the city his home, spoke about the changes in daily life and quality of life over the years, the reasons he chose to remain there, and the issues of Ceuta and migration currently facing Spain. He was interviewed on Voice of Greece radio and the program “Our Global Voice” by Dimitris Kontogiannis.
Mr. Abavis also discussed the difficult experience he faced in Spain during the years of Greece’s financial crisis, Catalonia’s particular characteristics compared with the rest of Spain, and the differences he sees between Greece and Spain.
