The show featured a phone interview with the head of the Greek Institute of Cultural Diplomacy in France, Ms. Georgia Kouvela, calling from the City of Light. She discussed the major charity event organized by the Institute to support the preservation of the Dora Stratou Dance Theatre and its collection of 2,500 traditional costumes.
The event, set to take place on Thursday, January 23, in the heart of the French capital, is expected to host 300 distinguished guests, including Tom Volf, Mimi Denisi, Jose Manuel Lamarque, Ioulia Lalayianni-Abbati, the Mayor of Paris’ 16th arrondissement, among others.
During the event, 20 models will showcase representative Greek traditional costumes from the historic Dora Stratou Theatre collection. This will be followed by a presentation of modern garments designed by graduates of the French fashion school LISAA Mode, inspired by Greek traditional attire.
Journalist Eirini Nikolopoulou will host the event.
