Filmmaker and author Stratos Tzitzis, a long-time resident of Berlin, visited the studio of Voice of Greece on the occasion of the release of his film “I Have Something to Say” in Greek cinemas, as well as the publication of his book “I Have Something to Say… Elements for a Theory of Completion”, which will be presented in downtown Athens on Friday, April 11.
The acclaimed director spoke about his love for cinema and directing, and about his acquaintance and collaboration with Pantelis Voulgaris. He also discussed his film “I Have Something to Say” and everything he wishes to express through it (a self-deprecating comedy featuring a director who wants to publish a philosophy book—a thoughtful man who, despite the mishaps and absurdities he faces, insists on reflecting). Furthermore, the well-known filmmaker spoke about the philosophy he has been studying for many years, life in Berlin, the favoritism that prevails in Greece and led him to emigrate 20 years ago, and much more that you’ll hear in his conversation with Natasa Vissarionos.
