Guest, on Monday, October 24, 2022, on the “Voice of Greece” was the director and actress from London, Kyriaki Mitsou. The artist spoke on the broadcasting program “Faraway words” with Natasa Vissarionos and Giannis-Stelios Tzirvelakis about her life and work: her “flirtation”, as she called it, with London, her decision to emigrate, but also her involvement with the theatrical events of this metropolis of the Greek Diaspora. The occasion for this discussion was the tribute “In Kambanellis’ Neighbourhoods”, a play – tribute to the mentality, perceptions, and ideas of the great Greek playwright, which she is directing herself and which will take place on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at the Golden Goose Theater in the British capital.

Furthermore, the broadcasting program had as a guest Panagiotis Vasilakis from Melbourne, a marble craftsman from Messinia, who in collaboration with the sculptor Konstantinos Dousis, created a replica of the western part of the Parthenon Frieze, which they used to “surround” the building of the Greek Community of Melbourne, in the heart of the city. The unveiling took place at the opening of the Greek festival “Antipodes” on Saturday, October 22.
