Lou Katsos about the many promotional activities of Hellenism on ”Our Global Voice” | 04 Mar. 2024

Entrepreneur Lou Katsos, founder and president of EMBCA (Eastern Meditteranean Business and cultural Alliance), which has been promoting Hellenism issues around the world for many years, spoke on “Our Global Voice” on the radio of the Voice of Greece and to Petros Diplas and Dimitris Kontogiannis.

Mr. Katsos, who came to the US at the age of 4 from the village of Georgitsi in Laconia, referred to his recent activities such as the webinar about the 4,000 Greek children adopted in the 1950s and 1960s in the US and elsewhere and the major problems they face in becoming naturalized Greeks. He also organizes on March 21st an event about Ioannis Kapodistrias: “The Governor and the Making of the Hellenic Nation” at Demos Center in Plaka and on March 24th he organizes a webinar on the martyr and philosopher “Hypatia of Alexandria”. Personalities from different countries participate in the events. He also spoke about the new effort he will undertake for the return to Greece of a unique skull with a helmet from the site of the Battle of Marathon, which is currently in the Royal Ontario Museum in Canada.
