Manolis Mitsias spoke about the composer who associated his name with him and his songs on Voice of Greece and on the show “Take your time”. He remembered their first collaboration with the song “Afta ta heria” (those hands) that Dimos Moutsis wrote for the film “A Funny Girl”. The beloved performer talked about the special personality and greatness of Dimos Moutsis, his own very special sound and the great songs he wrote, several of which were sung by Manolis Mitsias himself. He stressed that the Greek song was orphaned with his death and expressed the belief that in his house there will definitely be unpublished songs that he did not have time to publish. As he revealed, communication with him, in the last year, was limited due to his health condition, however, everyone, however, will remember his unique personality and his inspired creations, from the first years he met Nikos Gatsos and Lefteris Papadopoulos, the iconic release of “Agios Februarios” (Saint February) to his albums in the 80s and 90s containing some of the most important folk and art songs ever written.
