The internationally renowned musician Maria Kotrotsou, who resides in Paris, was featured today in the studio of the show “Take Your Time” with Prokopis Agelopoulos, in connection with the release of her new album “RECONNECTION.”

This album of electronic dance music is already available on all digital platforms and has been met with rave reviews by the international press.
The album consists of 14 tracks characterized by deep, memorable melodies, rhythms ranging from downtempo to EDM and house, and an exceptional piano technique evident throughout all the pieces. Ms. Kotrotsou, who lives and works in Paris, composes orchestral, neoclassical, electronic, New Age music, film scores, and songs. Captivated by music from the age of six, she began piano lessons and, four years later, participated in the piano competition of the Royal Academy of London, where she won first prize with distinction. In 2005, she earned her piano diploma with top honors from the National Conservatory of Athens and subsequently completed her law degree. She then moved to Paris to pursue advanced studies in classical music at the École Normale de Musique in Paris while also studying electronic music and composition.

She has attended masterclasses by notable figures such as Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Ibrahim Maalouf (film composition), Timbaland (production and beatmaking), Usher (the art of performance), Armin Van Buuren (dance music), and Deadmau5 (electronic music production). In her concerts, she presents her compositions, either performing them on keyboards with electronic melodies and rhythms ranging from downtempo to dancefloor music or on the piano in a neoclassical version. Her concerts have consistently sold out, attracting audiences of all ages. She has also composed music for films in France, China, and stage productions in various countries.
