Michael Schwandt, who was adopted by American parents in 1958, when he was 2 years old, from Greece, talks about his adoption story, about meeting with his birth mother in Greece, his half-siblings and how painful it is to be denied by the Greek State that he is “Greek” on “Our Global Voice” with Petros Diplas and Dimitris Kontogiannis.
Michael Schwandt (Konstantinos Tsoukalas according to his Greek adoption passport), who currently lives in North Carolina, USA, stressed that he has hired three lawyers since he started the process for obtaining Greek citizenship but has not had any tangible result to date.
