On Thursday, March 2, 2023, the show “Imprint” with Fuli Zavitsanou, welcomed director and screenwriter Kalliopi Legaki on the occasion of the screening of her documentary “My Father’s Studio” at the 25th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival (2-12/2023).
The film follows the footsteps and images of the great Larissa-born photographer Takis Tloupas, guided by the narration of his daughter Vania, who continues to run her father’s photo studio on the same corner of Larissa today.
The local yet universal perspective of this unique visual artist—who captured nature, rural life, and its people—comes to the present through Kalliopi Legaki’s documentary. With balance and rhythm, the film brings us closer to the life and work of the great Greek photographer.
