In the special hourly and afternoon edition of the show “Take Your Time” on Good Friday, May 3rd, 2024, we traveled, with the power of ERT World Radio, to Egypt, Austria, Peru and the small border island of Othoni, to exchange wishes and learn how they will celebrate with devotion and emotion the litany of the Epitaph, the Resurrection and Easter Sunday the Greeks of the World. In Egypt we talked with Father Damaskinos, abbots of the Holy Patriarchal Monastery of St. George in Old Cairo. In Austria we met Father Ioannis Nikolitsis, Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne and Archpriestly Commissioner of the Holy Metropolis of Austria.
Immediately afterwards, we opened a line with the capital of Peru, Lima. There we met Mr George Stratouris, a Greek who excels in the field of men’s fashion, having created the most famous men’s handmade clothing business today. Finally, we returned to Greece and went to the border island of Othoni and exchanged wishes and Easter pictures with Mr. Giannis Katechis, president of the Environment Association of the island, who talked to us about how the only 50-60 people who meet there for these holy days spend as a big company these days.
