Zoi Vrontisi is a graduate of the School of Electrical Engineering (NTEU) and holds an MSc from Imperial College. He has over 15 years of professional and academic experience with the main subject being the socio-economic analysis of climate policies and the effects of climate change, with a significant number of publications in reputable international journals. She has worked in the European Commission and the academic and private sectors. She was President of the National Center for Environment and Sustainable Development from 2015-2020 and a member of the Board of Directors of the Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) from 2017-2018. At the same time, she is active in citizen movements for self-organization, nature protection, the right to housing, common goods and public spaces, and collaborative economy.
