On Thursday, 09 October, the program “Imprint” with Fuli Zavitsanou was dedicated to the exhibition “JUVENILIA: From Early Style to Mature Work”, recently inaugurated at the Benaki Museum and running until 11 January 2026.
The exhibition explores the formative years and creative evolution of eleven major figures in modern Greek art: Spyros Vassiliou, Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghika, Yiannis Tsarouchis, Yiannis Moralis, A. Tassos, Vasso Katraki, Yiannis Spyropoulos, Alekos Kontopoulos, Dimitris Mytaras, Yiannis Gaitis, and Chryssa Romanou.
Art historian and co-curator Charis Kanellopoulou discussed the concept, content, and objectives of the exhibition, while art historian Polina Kosmadaki introduced listeners to the life and work of the pioneering diaspora artist Chryssa Romanou.
