D. Temponeras: I stand behind political plans, ideas, values, and principles, not behind individuals

Dionysis Temponeras commented on recent developments within the progressive political space, following Alexis Tsipras’s decision to resign as a SYRIZA MP, which stirred the waters and paved the way for potential political shifts. Speaking on Voice of Greece and the program “Take Your Time”, he clarified that he does not align himself with individuals, but rather with political plans, ideas, and values. He emphasized that any response on his part to a future call would depend on the presentation of a concrete political agenda and the substance of any initiative launched by the former Prime Minister.
Mr. Temponeras also responded to questions regarding the broader progressive landscape, the ideological challenges connected to addressing citizens’ everyday concerns, as well as the changes introduced in the labor sector by the much-discussed new labor law passed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
