On Thursday, 26 February, the program “Imprint” with Fuli Zavitsanou welcomed to the Voice of Greece studio author and translator Michalis Makropoulos, who spoke about the new comprehensive biography of C. P. Cavafy titled “Constantine Cavafy: The Man and the Poet”, recently published by Metaichmio Publications in his translation.
The book offers a fresh and substantial understanding of the poet’s life and work, the result of many years of research by two prominent Greek-American scholars, Gregory Jusdanis and Peter Jeffreys.
