Nikos Bakopoulos, a Greek expatriate businessman who moved to Venezuela more than five decades ago, spoke about the situation in the capital, Caracas, following the two powerful magnitude 7.2 earthquakes that struck parts of the country, including Caracas, in an interview on Voice of Greece radio’s “Our Global Voice” with Dimitris Kontogiannis.
Mr. Bakopoulos said that no members of the Greek community had been harmed and that the buildings of the Greek Community of Caracas had not suffered any significant damage.
