Nikos Papadopoulos, commander of the American Legion in Greece, spoke on the program “Our Global Voice” with Dimitris Kontogiannis about the upcoming events planned by the Greek branch of the Legion. The branch was founded in 1927 in Athens by expatriate veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces and is the second oldest in Europe, after the Paris branch established in 1919. He also discussed other topics of Greek-American interest.
