“Faraway Words” with Munich Children’s Choir “Melody” | 30 Oct. 2024

The artistic director of the Bavarian children’s choir “Melody,” Ms. Maria Kriniti, was hosted via phone from Munich. The conversation centered around the two silver medals the choir won at the World Choir Competition held in Barcelona, which featured 55 choirs from around the globe. Ms. Kriniti noted that the choir currently has 48 members, all of Greek descent, and performs a wide variety of musical genres, including Byzantine, classical, musical theater, and Greek music.
