On Thursday, 19 March 2026, following the introduction with the day’s current affairs and a review of the headlines, the program focused on the energy dimension behind the war in the Middle East. The topic was discussed with Giannis Bassias, energy consultant and former President of the Hellenic Hydrocarbons Management Company (EDEY). The first hour concluded with international news, presented by Ivana Tzortzevits.
In the second hour, we spoke with ERT international news journalist Chrysostomos Loukas about the consequences of the war and the decisions expected to be taken at the upcoming Summit, both on economic and other pending issues. Issues of profiteering in the market and relief measures for consumers were discussed with Giorgos Lechouritis, President of INKA (General Federation of Consumers of Greece).
The final segment featured director and author Nikos Theodosiou, who was awarded at the 28th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival for his podcast featuring interviews with veteran cinema projectionists. As he noted, a related documentary film is currently in preparation and nearing completion.
