On Thursday, October 23, 2025, “Take Your Time” connected with Prespes and spoke with journalist and communications officer of the Municipality of Prespes, Sofia Zouzeli, about the three-day festival “Flavors of Prespes” taking place from October 25 to 27.
After the headlines, we talked with Giorgos Christopoulos, president of the Hellenic Federation of Private Educational Employees and press representative of the General Confederation of Greek Workers , about how unions are responding to the new labor law.
In the second hour of the program, we heard an interview by the experienced director Lefteris Charonitis, following the tribute night dedicated to him by the Chania Film Festival, during which the festival’s director Matthaios Frantzesakis presented him with his newly published book “Osa prolava na kano” (All I Managed to Do). Charonitis spoke about what he has achieved, what he would have liked to achieve, and what must still happen in the near future, taking us back in time to the Athens of great artists in music, theatre, cinema, and literature. He also talked about his documentary work, the research behind his cinematic portraits of great Greeks, and his village Sisarcha in Heraklion, where he has returned in recent years and which now serves as the base for his next projects, because, as he says, quoting a Chinese proverb, “in life, one must die standing, with shoes on their feet”.
