In the Friday edition of the program on 28 November 2025, we heard two more interviews with young members of the Greek Diaspora, recorded during their participation in the 2nd Greek Youth Diaspora Symposium, organized by the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy at the Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Centre.
Apostolos Zezos from Toronto and Giorgos Rigas from Montreal spoke about the Greek-Canadian communities, their relationship with the homeland, their impressions of the Symposium and of Greece each time they visit, as well as their aspirations regarding the responsibility they undertake in representing Hellenism and Greek culture in their respective countries. They also shared thoughts about their personal plans and concerns for the future.
Also on “Take Your Time,” we spoke with labor law specialist Giannis Karouzos about the signing of the new Collective Agreement announced by the Ministry of Labor—what the next steps must be for it to apply across all sectors, what obstacles exist, and what workers should aim for in order to benefit from this development.
In the second part of the program, we welcomed to the Voice of Greece studio Ermis Peristeris and Lydia Giannousaki, members of the creative team behind the production “Listen, Kid — Piraeus Was Bombed,” which is being staged until 7 December on the Omega Stage of the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus. Ermis directs the play and, together with Spyros Asimenios, has worked on the dramaturgy and research, while Lydia is one of the actors.
