On Thursday, October 10, 2024, the program “Imprint” with Fouli Zavitsanou featured composer and pianist Panagiotis Liaropoulos, who lives in Boston, United States, and is an associate professor of composition at Berklee College of Music.
He spoke to us about the first Digital Audiovisual Archive of Traditional Music of Amorgos and its Islands, a repository for the preservation and dissemination of this unique Cycladic musical culture, which bears his signature. He also discussed the diverse and interesting events he organizes in the U.S. focused on Greek musical tradition.
