The sculptor Aspasia Papadoperaki was presented in the show “Our City” of the Voice of Greece on Saturday, November 12.
The important artist spoke about her study (publication) on the subject of “Folk Architecture of the Aegean Sea”, which she dedicates to Andros’ praiseworthy folk artist, Dimitris Loukrezis and to the long-term director of the Benaki Museum, Angelos Delivorrias.
Aspasia Papadoperaki has created important works in her long and brilliant artistic career, among which the sculpture of Cavafy in Alexandria, Kallas in Athens, Theotokopoulos in Heraklion and others.
She has published twelve books-studies, among which “Theotokopoulos, Kazantzakis, Kornaros”.
She has given important lectures and has won major awards.
In the show, she also talks about her travels and her favorite routes in the city.
