Panos Danos, CEO of the Danos Group & Partners – International Property Consultants and Valuers in Cyprus, Greece, and the Balkans, talked about the effects of the ongoing war in the Middle East (Lebanon, Gaza, Israel, Iran) on the island of Cyprus during an interview on the Voice of Greece radio show, Our Global Voice, with Petros Dipla and Dimitris Kontogiannis.
Mr. Danos spoke about the migratory flows of Syrians from Lebanon, which existed before the war but have intensified recently, either directly by boat or through the Turkish-Cypriot pseudo-state. He also mentioned the presence of Lebanese Maronites in Cyprus since the 13th century, as well as the arrival of Lebanese and Israelis over the past five years. He stated that the economic consequences of the war have not yet been felt on the island.
