On Thursday, May 9th, 2024, we talked with the political editor of the newspaper AVGI, Kostas Poulakidas, about current affairs and, mainly, the issues of Greek-Turkish relations, the visit of the Albanian president to Athens and the prognostications for the European elections on June 9th. Before closing the first hour, we opened a line with Preveza from where Polykarpos Chalkidis, representative of the prefecture of Preveza to the Panhellenic Hoteliers Federation informed us about this year’s tourist traffic, the messages about the summer and the sights of the area that attract more foreign visitors.
In the second hour, the filmmaker and editor Alkistis Kafetzi, who has been living permanently in Germany for 10 years. Mrs. Kafetzi is currently in Greece for the Athenian premiere of her documentary “Embros: A free self-managed theatre”. Alkistis Kafetzi talked to us about her decision to leave Greece in 2013, her life and work in Germany, initially in Munich and then in Berlin, her choice to work in documentary filmmaking, and her future plans.
