On the second hour, after reading the newspaper headlines, we have a phone-in from Chania, from where, Mr. Andreas Tsilimigkakis, father of a child on the autism spectrum, speaks to us about his struggle to improve infrastructure in Education and the specialization of teaching staff in special schools, which are anything but friendly to these children. The same problem is faced by the parents of children in hospitals, as there is only a single psychiatric care unit in the General University Hospital of Heraklion for the whole of Crete, which is at risk of being shut down, leaving many families with children who need psychiatric care uncovered.
