On the Holy Thursday edition of the show, April 17, 2025, following the morning newspaper headlines, we connected with ERT’s correspondent in Corfu, Giannis Andriotis, who gave us a glimpse of what Easter will be like this year on the island—one of the most beloved holiday destinations in Greece.
Next, Father Georgios Vamvakidis, Vice President of the Holy Association of Greek Clergy, offered reflections on the message of the Holy Week and the Divine Passion.
In the second hour, we went live to Rome to speak with Maria Tamouridou, a Greek tour guide. From St. Peter’s Square, where she was accompanying a group of visitors from Thessaloniki, she shared impressions of this year’s Easter in the Eternal City, which coincides this year with Catholic Easter.
In the final part of the program, we welcomed journalist and author Thodoris Georgakopoulos to the studio. Together we discussed climate change, inspired by his newly released book, A Greek Climate Crisis.
