On Friday, April 19th, 2024, after commenting on current affairs and newspaper headlines, we spoke with the political editor of Proto Thema, Georgia Sadana, about Political Current Affairs, focusing on pre-election and issues related to the European Union’s policy on the Refugee-Migration issue. Immediately afterwards, we connected with Berlin and talked with ERT correspondent and president of the German Foreign Press Association, George Pappas, both about the postal vote and the participation of Greeks in Germany in the European elections, as well as about issues concerning the Union he leads and how German public opinion views events in the Middle East.
In the second part, we heard the international news from Ivana Djordjevic, we heard ERT reporter Ilias Koukos inform us about the upgrade of the upcoming bad weather by the Civil Protection Service and Vasilis Kikilias’ decision to go to Thessaly. Also, another extraordinary event, a seismic tremor north of Samos, gave us cause to talk with ERT’s correspondent on the island, Charis Zavoudakis.
We closed the show with sports news from Antigone Drakatou, focusing on the great qualification of Olympiacos to the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League, after its victory on penalties against Fener, in Istanbul.
