Take Your Time with Prokopis Agelopoulos | Christmas 2023

In a special, festive show, on Christmas Day, we listened to Christmas music and we sent and received wishes from Pilion, Grevena, Sydney;

we communicated with Themis Kallos, director of SBS’s Greek program in Berlin;
we talked with the president of the Greek Community in Dublin, Panagiotis Matlis;
we spoke with Voice of Greece sound engineer, Konstantinos Louvaris;
and we also discussed the Star of Bethlehem with the director of the Eugenides Foundation’s New Digital Planetarium, Manos Kitsonas.

Furthermore, Mr. Evangelos Karamanes, director of the Hellenic Folklore Research Center of the Academy of Athens, talked to us about the customs of the holidays throughout Greece, as well as the traditional dishes that are served on the festive table.

Finally, we talked about the big Christmas concert of the National Symphony Orchestra and the ERT Choir that took place a few days ago at the Athens Concert Hall, with the director of the Choir, Michalis Papapetrou.
The concert was broadcast soon after the show, as part of the festive program of Voice of Greece.
