The program “Take Your Time” with Prokopis Agelopoulos welcomed author Thanasis Triaridis to the studio.
Born in Thessaloniki, Thanasis Triaridis studied Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and worked as a lawyer, journalist, and copywriter. Since 2007, he has been organizing seminars on European culture and leading creative writing workshops. He has also been active with the DROM network, advocating for the social rights of Roma communities.
Since 2000, he has published over 60 books, including prose, plays, and essays, and has contributed to a wide range of literary journals and publishing initiatives. For his play “May You Know That What You Hear Is a Train Whistle”, which addresses the pushbacks of refugees and migrants, he was awarded the Karolos Koun Playwriting Prize.
