The award-winning pianist and composer Roxani Chatzidimitriou was featured in the studio on the program “Take Your Time”, hosted by Prokopis Agelopoulos, on the occasion of her new album “Entre Ruidos” (Between Noises). The work moves between cinematic, contemporary classical and neoclassical music, blending acoustic instruments with electronic elements.
She was recently honored at the international World Classical Music Awards (Gold Award), while one of the album’s tracks, “Floating Inside”, received second prize at the Random Access Music Festival international composition competition in New York.
The album unfolds seamlessly across cinematic, neoclassical and contemporary classical idioms, while subtly incorporating elements of Greek traditional music. It features 12 original compositions for piano, electronics, string quartet, double bass, clarinet, bass clarinet and percussion, creating a soundscape that invites reflection and emotional immersion.
It encourages the listener to dream, to travel, to slow down and to reflect—serving as a meaningful reminder that we can live more simply, clearly and freely, even amid the noise and constant distractions of modern life.
