Chania Business Park – A Vision Comes True for the City’s Entrepreneurs and Beyond

Michalis Marakakis, President of the Chania Cooperative Bank, spoke on Voice of Greece about a vision that has become reality. The Chania Business Park was a long-standing demand of the local business community, particularly of companies that had faced dead ends due to the lack of adequate space and infrastructure.
The new Business Park was created to provide operating space for enterprises in Chania, as well as for other businesses that may wish to join the project. It is a modern complex of infrastructures, covering an area of 127.3 acres, designed to meet all the needs of a contemporary enterprise — from water supply and drainage to a complete road network.
Located just a few minutes from the city of Chania, the airport, and the port, it represents a major step forward for the region.
In his interview on the program “Take Your Time”, Mr. Marakakis explained the key factors that led to the implementation of the project and discussed the economic and environmental impact it is expected to have on the city and the local economy.
